Yesterday’s Guardian carries an interesting review of Adam Roberts’ book, The Wonga Coup, by political risk consultant Dominick Donald.
What’s not mentioned in the Guardian is that Donald works for Aegis, the company whose boss, Tim Spicer, was called into the Foreign Office to discuss the coup attempt in Equatorial Guinea shortly before it was mounted by his former business partner, Simon Mann.
In other Aegis-related news, Lloyds has dropped its war risk designation of the Malacca Strait, originally applied after a report by Aegis last year.
