Elections always remind me of the Eurovision Song Contest. You have to go through the often excruciating process of listening to the contestants before you get to the good bit, the results!
I’ve already got my list of marginal seats handy, which should help me follow the way things are going as the evening progresses.
I’ll also of course have my SNP and Plaid Cymru election scorecards to help gauge the situation in Scotland and Wales.
I might as well post links to my earlier predictions for the election in Britain and Northern Ireland here, as it may very well be the last time I ever mention them again.
The Northern Ireland seats will not be declared until tomorrow. In the meantime you can see the list of predictions from entrants at Nicholas Whyte’s election site here. It’s also worth checking out Slugger O’Toole where Mick Fealty will have regular updates from what could be a very significant set of results.
