Amnesty calls for Finucane Inquiry boycott

Amnesty international has launched an online petition appeal calling on judges to boycott any inquiry into the Pat Finucane case under the new Inquiries Act.

Amnesty International UK Director Kate Allen said:

"Any judge presiding over an inquiry into the Finucane murder under the Inquiries Act 2005 would be presiding over a sham. We urge judges not to sit on any such inquiry." (Amnesty International news release)
