With all the attention focused on Sinn Fein and the IRA in recent months, the DUP has, predictably, got a free pass from the politicians who were warning that it’s ascendancy was a doomsday scenario.
However, the DUP is a very right-wing party with links to fringe groups in Britain like the Monday Club and the Swinton Circle .
The party leader’s son Ian Paisley Jr may have brought that into focus with this outburst against homosexuals.
