I have become the latest person to be interviewed by the Campaign for an English Parliament in their series on sympathetic bloggers.
The CEP blog has also picked up a good analysis piece by Iain McWhirter, who argues that Tony Blair’s weakening control over Parliament will ignite the West Lothian Question.
This is something I suggested back in May in my post The Awkward Squad: Labour’s Potential Rebels, which has seen quite a few hits lately (by Green Ribbon standards anyway.)
Only 23 English Labour MPs would need to rebel before Tony Blair has to rely on Scottish MPs to impose his health and education plans on England. Right now, that looks like an easily achievable target.
